Today Capitol Hill is feeling even more quiet because Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) passed away this morning. Although I have never had a chance to personally meet the Senator, his tireless work on legislation has affected me in positive ways. He championed civil rights issues, quality health care for all and other legislation to improve life for those in "society's shadows."
